I received this as a gift - all those hard to find spices in one convenient location. Wow, it's aromatic, and really brings out the "foodie" in me.

There are a lot of folks who don't like curries. I use some of the same spices in Moroccan tagines and Thai coconut curries.

Not a fan of Curries here however, that is such a thoughtful gift, very beautiful and obviously practical for you Mr. Grinder.
I am going to guess that the price is reasonable as well? Not being a fan I have no idea of the related cost.

Yes, procuring those spices can be quite costly if you don't have a nearby market offering them.

The Chicken Korma I made with the spice kit was great. There's just no substitute for fresh, quality spices.

Yeah - that container of "Curry Spice" at your local discount food store, and it's usually less than $1.
