I've decided to start drinking green tea. I don't like plastics or chinese products made with God knows what. Just looking for a couple of 16 oz beer glasses (those smooth, clear, tapered ones like they put tap beer in at a bar).

anyone got a link?

These say they are made in the US, not sure if they are microwave safe though. I've never put my pint glasses in the microwave.

You want to put the glass in the microwave? Boil the water in a Pyrex measuring cup.

Finding a glass that's not made in China? hahaha hohoho hehehe. A rare find unless you go to an antiques dealer.

I like Gerania's idea, but I imagine those Pyrex measuring cups are also made in China.

I would just buy a 16 oz ceramic cup use that in the microwave and transfer it to a glass when it's hot.

Dollar Tree sells huge thick beer steins that look like they are 24 oz.

looks like this

My measuring cups are really old. They were probably made here. There's probably a market for vintage Pyrex.

And put a table knife in the mug when you pour.

Just get yourself an electric tea kettle and find yourself a locally made mug.
