4:35 kickoff for the Patriots game. I'm making a really flavorful pot roast to serve at halftime. When the Superbowl is at my house, I usually make some kind of big flavor stew or very thick soup in the Le Creuset. I might do a lamb stew-based shepherd's pie this year. I typically make things that can be done in advance and can be served buffet style and still be OK a couple hours later. It's winter. I make winter food.

Football snack and lunch food is for 1pm games. There won't be any more of those for me with people at the house this year. Nothing like lobster rolls in September for a 1pm kickoff.
