A bit of background - live on my own. Major foodie at heart, but cook mostly cheap/quick/freezable meals due to time /money constraints. Most of my food is from scratch. I take food for lunch, very rarely eat out. Recently moved to NJ and replenishing my kitchen supplies and gadgets.
In the past I've owned a number of panini press, toaster, electric grill, and used them extensively. I have a small kitchen and saw a multi task electric grill, waffle maker, panini press etc. It's not cheap, over $100,and I was wondering if it's worth it. I would use the grill and sandwich press a lot. Also, I'd I get a grill Ike that, do I also need a regular slice toaster?
You can get a panini press, a toaster oven and a waffle maker/grill for under $100, it also depends if you have space for them or to store them.
I have a combo waffle maker where the plates flip into a grill, but I seldom use it . . I seldom use my panini press but I like to have it for cuban sandwiches or other hot pressed sandwiches.
