I wash the celery, wrap it in damp paper towels, and wrap in the plastic produce bag. It lasts for a month or so.

weezycom suggests aluminum foil, that does work, even keeping it wrapped in a plastic bag works wonders. I am having no problems: mine lasts a month or less if I am cleaning out the veggie drawer and just want to get rid of it. My problem, right now, it the price. $1.99 yesterday. I think for awhile celery and I are heading in different directions.

I have been keeping it wrapped it a plastic bag. I think these last few months have just been bad for the celery. I look like such a freak in the produce aisle. Feeling up all of the appples for no bruising, squishing the celery trying to find the crispest one........ just another day for me.

Putting my seriously sick looking celery in water did the trick. This time around I bought celery hearts and wrapped them in aluminum, so we shall see!
