From the list below, I only like coffee, grapefruit juice, carbonated water, one type of olives (Kalamata), and one type of mushroom (basic button). I don't know if it means I'm a supertaster or not, but this list leaves off only two whole foods I dislike (non-scrambled eggs and raw onions).

I don't section grapefruit in the morning. Not a morning person, so I'm not going to do that. Do you have a grapefruit knife? Everyone needs a grapefruit knife. I've never liked grapefruit juice. There's some sort of
odd bitter taste. Probably the pith, but I'll eat lemon pith.

I'll eat roasted Brussels sprouts, but don't like kale. Green olives taste very bitter to me. Green tea tastes like water. I like orange or lemon seltzer. I don't like lime. None of the mushroom varieties taste bad to me. I'm not quite a supertaster, but I have some of that going on. I definitely don't like the bitter foods. I find tonic vile.

Eating grapefruit the white or pink one is an acquired taste either you like it or not.My DH and I love the flavor amd eat daily a grapefruit or even fresh pressed. The last few weeks we were able to buy 6 for $1.88 Canadian so we usually buy 12 or 18.If we are lucky we get tasty ones from November til April.

I love the taste of grapefruit, but can't eat it anymore due to conflicts with prescription meds.

Love grapefruit. Cut in half, with a little sugar on top.

I enjoy it. But I also like bitter flavors. For eating I prefer pink or red grapefruit. And I also had a sweet white variety once. For juice I am more open, but only fresh squeezed juice.

Grapefruit has always been a conundrum for me.

It looks good, it smells good, but when I put it in my mouth, without loading it up with sugar, something goes terribly wrong.

Your grapefruit is safe with me!
