I don't really do PB&J anymore but if I did, it would be on a whole wheat or mulit-grain bread.
I don't eat bologna, but I eat salami and I like to make grilled salami and provolone sandwiches on french or italian or sesame bread.
Meatloaf -- haven't had it in ages (gotta make it soon because everyone keeps talking about it!!) but I would have it on garlic toast or no bread at all.
I love a roast beef and horseradish cheddar on an onion roll.
Turkey on whole wheat or multi-grain.
Veggie on a cheddar herb bread or sun-dried tomato bagel
Chicken salad on sourdough or sesame
Reuben on rye.
SEE.....I told you I LOVE all breads!! Never met one I didn't like or wouldn't eat (unfortunately)
In fact, I think I am a BREAD SNOB. I will not eat that filmsy white bread anymore!
Wow. Way too much thought involved in bread choices. The best thing with pbj is Wonder Bread. Ditto with Fluffer nutter. Zero food value. However, since I'm old and need to be conscious of fiber content I'd go with a good whole grain bread with everything.
Ham and rye
Grilled cheese on white
Turkey on wheat
Roast beef on kaiser roll
PBJ on white
Meatloat of white
