It's fine. If we're going out, we take meat out of the freezer, stick it in the microwave, and go about our day. It's usually thawed by the time to cook has arrived. It has to go in the microwave because the dog is a counter surfer when we're not looking. Or at least it had BETTER be the dog - there were tongue prints in the butter I had left out to soften the other day and it BETTER not have been my husband!
I get these from one of my cats if I leave the butter open....on a positive note, she never has hairballs!
I accidentally left a turkey breast (at least 9 lbs. could be more) that was frozen solid out on the counter for almost a day. Still cold and probably frozen inside and I put it in the fridge right away. Is it safe to cook it or has it gone bad?
Definitely safe.
It takes a really long time for frozen meat to thaw in the fridge, could be days for a whole bird.
Was it completely defrosted when you got home? You said it was still cold and probably frozen inside but if it had thawed out completely I don't know if I would feel comfortable eating it. Maybe check online.

I have completely defrosted meats all day. It's fine. I have been doing it this way for years and never got sick or worry about getting sick.

If it didn't get warm, and it smells fine, I'd cook it, if it were me (making sure it's thoroughly done and gets really hot inside). Actually, I've left frozen chicken to thaw, forgotten it, and left it out all night (frozen chicken breasts, still in the plastic package I bought it in). It was fine.
For full frozen turkeys, I often leave them out the night before Thanksgiving, soaking in the wrapper in cold water. I got tired of the turkey still being frozen in the center after thawing in the fridge for days. I'm not dead yet.
Some will say it's unsafe. So if you want to be sure, just throw it out. The world won't end.
