Wow I love cilantro, and anise is one of my favorite flavors. I'll jump on the entrails bandwagon. If it has tripe, tongue, intestines, anything innards (except chicken gizzards).
AAAH -- YES! I forgot about these. I hate all these artificial sweeteners. I've never encountered them in a restaurant or in home cooking, but if I did, BLECH. Not only are they not good for you, but the aftertaste is just TERRIBLE. If I see these ingredients in anything in the store, I put it back on the shelf. I can taste them even in small quantities. They're even worse than peppers.
Oh, yeah, me too. Can't stand them. Always, always that aftertaste.
Another one for cilantro. I don't like mushrooms either, but can usually pick them out of a dish.
Ha! This reminds me of a story from years ago when my nephew was 8 years old. As a precaution, before preparing hamburgers for the grill, I asked him if he liked chopped onions. He said yes, but when we went to eat the burgers, he made a face and said "There's onions in my burger. I can't eat it." It turns out that he liked raw onions ON his burger, but had never seen them IN a burger, and he wasn't going to start eating them that way. So, being a nice auntie, I had to remove the onions IN his burger for him to eat his dinner.
He was otherwise very sweet at the age of 8, and it was worth it to pick out the onions, especially since it gives me such a laugh now.

I don't blame him. You put raw onions in a burger?
