Bring it to room temperature, then pan sear it again. Take it off when the brown begins to encroach on the red. I.e., reheat what's already cooked, try not to cook any more of it.
As far as safety goes, the most important thing is probably that the left over fish is refrigerated promptly. I reheat it the next day very often and have never had problems.
