I remember when they were still an independent company in the 80's. They were even better then. Now Kraft or someone bought them out. Still awesome.
I like to put about a dozen whole cherry tomatoes on top before I throw them in the oven. So awesome! Also heard they are great on the grill but haven't done it.
Seem to be kind of new to the Phoenix area. People like em though. Oddly they have limited selection out here. Need the Canadian bacon. And the delicious Mexican style. Why would you not sell that flavor in a heavily Latino populated area??

We really are lucky, pizza technology has changed so much in the last 15 years that supermarket frozen pizzas can actually out compete on a quality basis with the fresh made pizzas of the lower and even mid tier end chains.
In the past I started a couple of pizza concepts. If you are in the mass pizza business (verses a premium offering) you would be very hard pressed to beat the quality of a frozen pizza if it is baked in an actual pizza oven. There are ways around this conundrum, but acknowledging reality is the first step.
Tony's was pretty good 30 years ago. Had one recently and I'd rate it a 0 out of 5.
