Pennstation's Honey Mustard taste so good, but they don't sell it in stores like Big Boy Frisch's sells their tartar sauce.

I am assuming they buy it in bulk from a certain name brand. Does anyone know what that brand is or at least a similar Honey Mustard recipe?

I already tried that. Especially the nasty rice vinegar, honey, and mustard combination.

Sorry doesn't taste no where near like pennstations.

Hi -

I had never heard of Penn Station so it was fun to check them out. I looked at copycat.com and didn't see anything there. Did you talk to the store/restaurant manager to inquire about their honey mustard sauce? I would start there.

Welcome to the forum. Please let us know what you find out if you do talk to the store manager.

Perhaps someone else might be able to help as well!?

Are you talking about NYC's Penn station??? Never had the honey mustard there. What restaurant or place did you have this??? I am kind of familiar with the food there. Did you try mixing, mayo, mustard and honey??? That's what I do and it's pretty good.

Pennstation is available everywhere, but yes it should be in NYC.

I tried the mayo, honey, and mustard combo. Still doesn't taste as good. I need something similar or better.

lubby, I think this is the place this poster is talking about. Apparently it's an East Cost/Midwest Sub place. I've never heard of it before.

Raze22, your best bet would be to call the restaurant and ask them.

Their honey mustard is probably their own proprietary blend and will not share the recipe.

I'm sure however they would sell you a bottle or container of it.

I would imagine it is so good because of high fructose corn syrup.

I asked them over the phone once, the answer was no.
