I have been going through some boxes from my Mom and finding mysterious kitchen implements/tools. This one I vaguely remember as some sort of cookie mold system. Does it look familiar to anybody? It is a handle which screws into a bunch of different molds. What is it called? What recipe? there are about 10 molds in all. Thank you.

Mod: I've tested my photo and know I am giving the right url. Any idea why my pictures are not showing up this morning?

I know what it is but don't remember what it is called. Yes, for cookies, European, mostly made around Christmas.

I am assuming that the molds are open shapes, not a closed cup.

I googled. Try Swedish Rosette and Timbale set. and I suspect that is it.

YES YES YES......If I could get to you I'd kiss you! Now all I have to do is find a recipe book. There was a Swedish Cooking on Amazon but I really just want the cookie cook book. Thank you so much!!!!

(Now I have to figure out why my usual method of posting photos is not working!)

I couldn't remember what it is called so I googled "cookie handle mold to shape" and it came right up, with lots of photos.

I know that the things are popular so there are probably a zillion recipes online for them.

I don't know that I want you to kiss me, but I'd be happy to accept a hug. Let me know how the cookies turn out. It's one of those things I have been interested in trying but never got around to.

yes I found a good recipe on all recipes. I love that site cause it has lots of reviews. I understand it takes a long time to do each one individually. I'll get my 14 year old girls to help. They will think it is fun. Here are the pictures I was trying to post. I was simply skipping a step.

My mom had a ton of those.

If I remember correctly, she dipped them in some kind of batter and put them into hot oil and then the batter released from the mold.

I don't remember if she greased the mold somehow.

After they browned slightly, she scooped them out and dusted them with powdered sugar.

My mom didn't make those, but I loved them and started making them when I was a teen. I think your girls will like it.
