I was interested in purchasing the pan so I looked up reviews. I was quickly changed my mind.

Several stores in my area have "As seen on TV" aisles or displays. They sell many of the same exact products, only cheaper and with no shipping and handling fee. And you can return the product for a refund if it doesn't perform as advertised.

good point. I haven't seen them necessarily cheaper in stores, regardless of the product, but certainly seen plenty items sold that way. I still am not really disappointed in my skillet, but would not buy another one. tayt t h she epo

If it sounds too good to be true ...

My mom has one of those. We used it a couple of times over Thanksgiving, and it was great. I'll keep a lookout for the non-stick surface starting to fail.

I second the Calphalon non-stick pans. They are amazing. Of course they cost a little more, but you can find a good sale every now and then.
