It's the one on TV from that nice senior lady.

Cost more to send it back, wish I'd bought it local..... but didn't.

Actually one of mine does and one doesn't. I try not to cook on high even though they say we can and I do use a little oil or spray. the positive is: they clean up easily. I don't have an answer for what you can do.

I hate the phony non-stick skillets. I just got a second skillet from Costco, a very deep skillet with a lid. It was $35 and a Caphalon. You can stir stuff in it and nothing slops out. Best skillet I've ever had.

If you go you might get one before they sell out in the stores. Sold out on Costco.com,

There's your problem.

There is a very very very small handful of 'As Seen on TV' products that actually live up to their promises. I never buy products straight from TV. I wait until I've seen enough independent reviews that I can feel confident about what I'm getting, then I buy it someplace like Bed, Bath & Beyond where I can use a coupon and easily return it if needed.

Exactly. I ordered one of those "Perfect Pancake Makers" which came out in the late 90's/early 2000's. It was a piece of junk. No amount of pre-seasoning or spraying with PAM stopped pancake batter from sticking. After about the third attempt, I threw it into the garbage. Lesson learned.

The reviews I've read about it say it works great at first, but loses its non-stick surface pretty quickly.

Pretty much what the OP said.

This lady?

LOL!!! Most things "As seen on TV" are junk. You should first check what are you buying. Or ask. Or Google.
Lesson learned - I hope.
