Starting with a salad, then serving grilled shrimp, scallops, and vegetables with fried rice. I have a couple of bottles of sake chilling as well. We have friends joining us for dinner tonight.

It was baking day for the deli today so I like to keep supper simple. I kept some of the carrot coconut cookies for ourselves. It’s a new recipe that I hope sells well at the deli. While making pies I made a chicken pot pie for our supper tonight. A lettuce wedge with diced tomatoes for each salad. Simple.

A veritable feast after last night's frozen pizza.

Italian sausages, rye toast, mustard, warmed sauerkraut, jalapeno ranch style beans, and a green salad.

Thursday's are ski nights so dinner is always a little wonky. I made pulled pork from the freezer, granny smith apples and croissants for the kids before we went.
Now that we are home I have hot dogs boiling up for me and the husband.
