Tonight we are having chicken wings. I buy them at one of our chicken outlets here in AR. They are very cheap and already breaded. This is my first time so I will have to let you know how they taste. We are also going to have fruit salad and asparagus. I have a little left over rice for spoiled brat.
I have never been a fan of meatloaf but my husband loves it. I ran across this recipe. I'm hoping since I love lamb this might convert me to a meatloaf fan. Meatloaf With Ground Lamb Recipe - Food.com As a huge bonus a few weeks ago I ran across ground lamb on sale for $1.99 a pound!!! I bought quite a bit.
I'm thinking roasted asparagus and egg noodles to go with it.
*I have some pears I need use up. I think I'll make some homemade pear sauce to go with the meatloaf.

Yesterday was my birthday but I was too sick to do anything. We did go out, but after 20 minutes, he looked at me and hustled me home and onto the couch. Feeling better today (12 hoyrs of sleep do that for me) and I want to order in Chinese. I'm hoping he agrees.
Tonight we have salmon tandoori with basmati rice flavored with cashew nuts,cloves and green cardamon pods. Served with cilantro chutney and a cucumber salad. To drink a glass of citrusy, medium-bodied white wine from Ontario. For dessert later by the fireplace Black Forest cake with Schnapps inside and a cup of coffee/tea.
I put in a pork shoulder, and doing an extra crispy recipe. Will serve with DH's homemade chili water, chimichuri, mojo and a pan sauce.
Probably just a side salad with veggies, and corn bread (from package).
