I mentioned to a new friend that I miss good Italian food so he offered to take me to Gerardo's Firewood Cafe for the best Lobster Mac n Cheese he has ever had. I can't wait to try it.

Today is my 13th wedding anniversary. I decided to make a special meal and cooked pretty much all day.
I made braised ox tails. Here they are before going in the oven for 3.5 hours.

Jamaican rice and peas.
And kale cooked with bacon, onions, garlic and shallots.
Roast chicken leg and thigh with brown rice
Steamed broccoli topped with a sauce made of soy sauce and mayonnaise
