We had raw oysters, pork rinds with ras el hanout, pork jowls with peaches in a raspberry bbq sauce, Albanian lamb, bread pudding and pistachio mousse.

In honor of Nat'l Cheeseburger Day, I'll have a cast iron fried hamburger patty or 2 with lots of fried onions (allergic to cheese) & a bit of organic lettuce w/tomato & lemon, sea salt & a drizzle of olive oil. No roll, cuz I'm on that no-low carb diet so I can soon fit into jeans without screaming "Let me out!"
I honored National Cheeseburger Day one day late. Had a seasoned Angus beef burger with cheddar cheese and an onion slice. Enjoyed it with a bowl of cottage cheese. Drank Ballast Point IPA.

I spent way too much $$ this past month & so am putting together meals cobbled from what I have around. Tonight I made miso soup & poured it over some of last night's brown rice & added canned sardines & a poached egg, the sardines would have been better on the side with bread tbh. Tomorrow night I finish off the rice with a fried rice stir fry with veggies & scrambled egg & chopped up frozen vegan burger patties & a side salad.
