Grilled rib eye, left over turnips, and probably some of the madras lentils I made, they are delicious! I was addicted to the ones you buy at Costco, but these are better!!

Tonight at the Case abode: Homemade pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and onions. Took the remaining ground Italian sausage and made formed medallions to have with the pizza.
I broke my vegetarian/vegan lifestyle for the first time in almost seven years today by eating some wild caught organic sardines in a romaine salad with olive oil and black pepper. Truthfully it was actually delicious but I did suffer some slight queasiness for an hour or so as my body is not used to processing fish. I am officially pescatarian now and this move is for health reasons. It's just an experiment for now to see how my body does and I may or may not stick with it. I probably won't eat fish every day, more likely once or twice per week to start out with so I don't overwhelm my stomach. I felt full for hours on this in the same way I felt full when I first reintroduced yogurt. I had the same queasiness then too but it went away after a week or so.
I also had garlic toast and cashew milk with my salad.
Thanks for sharing, I think it's smart that your giving in to eating small amounts of dairy/fish. Sometimes I think our bodies know exactly what it needs. Some days I crave meat and others lots of veggie I just listen to it.
Tonight such an easy-quick dinner. Fried egg sandwich, aged Havarti and couple mandarin oranges.
Leftover steak and brown rice from last Saturday night
Kale, broccoli, mango and pomegranate kernel salad
