Nah. Someone I don't particularly like, to discuss family type stuff. Sit and smile, and eat my gyoza.

Hi everyone! I just returned from a business trip to Dubai and I am ready for a hot, home cooked meal so...I guess I'd better get my tail back in the kitchen again. Tonight we are having New England Lamb Bake (in the slow cooker now), buttermilk biscuits, Southwestern salad and carrot cake for dessert.

I have a pot of cooked barley, so I think I will make fried barley rice for dinner, (vegetarian) My original plan was to make grain salads for lunch, but it is too cold, & I am preferring hot lunches.

Haven't a clue. *sigh* . The first of our house guests doesn't get in until late Friday and I already feel like I'm done cooking for just the two of us for the week. It may be a good time to try one of the new restaurants that has just opened in the area. I'm thinking the poke place.

Grilled cheeseburgers with the usual vegetable suspects. My husband makes these awesome homemade baked potato chip type things. I need to tell him to make those tonight to go with the burgers.
