Today is my 48th birthday. How the H-E-double hockey stick that happened is beyond me! Anywho I want out for an early dinner with the family. Smokestack Urban Barbecue I took photos. I always feel awkward taking them but oh well.
My dinner-fried catfish, oysters and shrimp with remoulade sauce. Fries and Cole slaw and Switchback Ale
The ten year old's catfish tacos. He had them hold the tomatoes.
Dessert was beignets with a chocolate dipping sauce. The husband had pulled pork, ribs, brisket with Mac and cheese, cucumber salad and cornbread. And the five year old had chicken, blah!
Appetizer was handmade potato chips with barbecue rub and blue cheese dipping sauce. Sorry for all the photos!

Here at the puginabug household we thawed some tomato sauce and a big ole boneless chicken breast. I butterflied and pounded the breast, browned it in the oven (in restrospect I should have breaded it too, but didn't), boiled some penne, and had chicken parmesan and penne. With a green salad and a bit of cabernet.

We eat a lot of salmon and fish, and tonight we are having salmon with pesto sauce on it. (Costco special !) We also eat a lot of brown rice, and will have that with some vegetable.
