Simmered the turkey carcass from New Years with a leek, green beans, onions, potatoes, carrots, celery-
not to mention the turkey cavity was stuffed with sage, rosemary, oregano, butter, garlic, and one lemon. Sprinkled with parsley and salt- Yummy.
Had it with steak tacos on the side!
Tried Jersey Mike's for the first time. Husband had an Italian, I had a Philly Cheesesteak. OMG - I am a convert! They were fantastic! Too expensive to have on a regular basis, unfortunately, but if we find a coupon, we are THERE!!
We are having ham and scalloped potatoes; I have a little broccoli left for our green veggie and lots of fruit; love my fruit salad topped with cream and brandy.
