Stevia/Truvia: two packets plus a dab of honey to enrich the sweetness a bit. Half-n-half. Also sometimes some creamer powder for even more richness.

Can't stand it black. Once in a while, I can tolerate coffee that's white but not sweet.

I have to have sugar or sweetener of some sort if I'm adding cream or milk.
I have no problems drinking a cup of strong black coffee or espresso without a sweetener, add the cream though and it's got to be sweet. For me I think it's the creamy sweet combo that does it, it's what makes it taste good to me..
I rather enjoy the bitterness? of black coffee especially if it's good and strong.

Try it black, maybe your taste buds will adjust..

If you like the taste and don't have to worry about the calories or the effect on your insulin levels, why try to wean yourself off it? I use half and half in mine, with stevia or monkfruit extract for sweetening.

I use less and less...CoffeeMate is already sweet if I happen to use it, I also use evaporated
milk sometimes, it gives a slightly different flavor. I have cut down to one spoon of sugar from
three.

Just stop doing it. I used to put A LOT of cream in my coffee and couldn't drink it any other way. I went on a diet and part of that was no cream in the coffee. It took me two weeks (if that) to get used to it. Then it was no problem, I drink my coffee black now.

You could try getting some coconut cream (from a can) in your coffee.

But when I see so many people around me who take no sugar in theirs, and appear to enjoy it just as much as I do, I wonder how to make the switch. I've tried it in the past, very lamely, I have to admit. I haven't even managed to get to the end of the first cup, lol. So I guess that doesn't count as effort, lol.

If you were once a sugar-in-your-coffee lover, and you found a way, please share your experiences! How long did it take? Did you reduce your coffee consumption? Did it suddenly taste really good, one day? My son suggests I try to view it as a new drink entirely. My daughter says 2 weeks of misery will change me and I will never go back to sugar.

How much sugar are we talking? Per small cup, 15-20 ml. That is about two heaped teaspoons. Oh and I drink it with a small amount of 2% milk, probably a tablespoon.
That's a lot of sugar. Start by not heaping it. Maybe add more milk. I'm going to try to quit coffee completely

What is the harm of a teaspoon of sugar in your coffee?
When I changed my eating habits and lifestyle I did not give up cream or sugar in my coffee and amazingly enough I still
lost 500 pounds without surgery, pills or a special program.
I don't count salad dressing in my daily calorie intake either....
