TJ's

Frozen Kung Pao Chicken rocks!

Agree with others about the ketchup as well as their wine & cheese selections

In the bakery section: Brooklyn Chocolate Babka

Their jarred Tomato & Basil Marinara is quite good

For some reason their cherry & grape tomatoes are better than those I get elsewhere and their Teeny Tiny Potatoes are really good

I just remembered I love TJ's soy ice cream. Mmmm. They used to have chocolate, too, but I haven't seen that in a long time. I buy just one container of vanilla, because I know my husband and I will devour it, and I don't want the temptation of another container in the freezer. LOL

My neighbor just brought me from TJ's

1 box Miso Ginger Broth
Bag of shredded carrots
Bag of Green Onions
Bag of Pot Stickers

She makes a soup with 10 oz or so of the Broth, adds carrots, onions and 2-3 pot stickers and a new soup for me to try. This should be interesting when I put it together next week.

Whole Foods

365 Frozen Pizzas
Individual slices pizza
2 Bran Muffins now and then, 2 last me a week.

Trader Joe's: best price on most nuts, triple cream brie, almond butter, Ethiopian coffee.

I never go to Whole Foods.

We don't have Publix. Our main regional grocers are Price Chopper and HyVee. I mostly to to HyVee for stuff Aldi doesn't carry.

That soup sounds interesting. I might just try it.

I'm anxious to try it next week, but may "cut" the broth with some water as sodium is higher.

Whole Foods...I buy my ground beef and ground lamb, grass fed and often organic.

Trader Joe's - gorgonzola crackers
No whole foods in the area

We do not have Trader Joe's

Publix: Calypso Crunch Cookies (bakery)
Deli Fried Chicken
Deli white Cheddar Broccoli Soup

We also like their Pre-Made Tea.

So many of the processed frozen foods TJ's or others, often contain high amounts of sodium, so if you are watching that, just a reminder. I don't buy much of their frozen foods due to this. Deli foods too, our local market sells nice tasty roasted chickens and boy the sodium.
