The body takes longer to process certain food, carbs are ok early in the day, as is fruit.
Cereal or danish for breakfast is fine, an apple for supper is a mistake.
A sandwich with processed meat is fine at lunchtime but too salty for dinner time.
ANything in moderation.
Are there any foods that you would only eat at certain times of the day? Or in other words, do your meals differ between breakfast, lunch, dinner?
Is this based on habit, or is there some kind of health/nutritional reason for it?
Thanks.
Normally we eat foods that are considered traditional for each meal, but I have been known to eat a piece of chicken for breakfast or eggs for dinner.
JONESG; no apple for dinner: that would mean no waldorf salad or fruit salad. I like both once in awhile for dinner and I love strawberries in green salad.
My breakfast is always the same but lunch and dinner vary. I actually enjoy pancakes and bacon/sausage for dinner. Sandwiches for lunch always because I work in a sandwich shop.
I don't eat sweets for breakfast (except Maple syrup) and try not to have any heavy carbs in my evening meal..
The evening thing doesn't always happen and it's a fairly new habit I'm getting into..
