Cons of stand mixers or hand mixers ?

A common theme seems to be frequency of use. Some of us cook often and enjoy cooking. We get a lot of use out of our appliances and to us, they are not taking up space. We actually use them. Lol.

We have a 13 cup Kitchen Aid and it's a monster. We have a rolling butcher block island for our K/A stand mixer. We don't use it real often but when it's needed it's needed. Our pantry is stuffed with kitchen gadgets and machinery.

I have a stand mixer and an immersion blender, no hand mixer.

They both serve a purpose.

When I need my stand mixer, nothing else will work. I love it!
