to the person who asked whats the difference between a weiner hot dog and a frank... technically they all fall into the sausage category... but what we call them are generalized terms

ball park,,,likes the word ...franks..

and armour likes the word...hot dog..

which are all sandwiches

we may all agree if you place bologna in bread or on a bun...its a sandwich.....next time you eat a skinless frank...notice how much it tastes like bologna



i did a survey at work,,,and most said......if the hot dog is in between bread/roll/bun/then its a sandwich

Weiner - Wein (Vienna)

Frank(furter) - Frankfurt

Hamburger - Hamburg

Berliner - Berlin

(That last one's actually a donut - just ask JFK)
