Milk sold in paper cartons should also limit light exposure.

That should help but milk tastes a lot better when it comes in glass bottles. I remember the brown glass that protected the milk from losing vitamins.

(I can't even drink water that comes in plastic bottles--all I can taste is the plastic.)

There is a regional dairy company, Oberweis Dairy, that sells milk in brown glass bottles. They started doing it because it's better than the clear glass they used previously. The milk is excellent and tastes different than grocery store milk. I don't buy it often because it's pricey and most of our milk gets poured down the drain. We don't drink a lot.

BTW--if you're ever near Aurora, IL go to Oberweis Dairy and get a turtle sundae and maybe some milk. When we lived nearby I went out in near blizzard weather to get one. I guess I had a major craving. It was always worth it. They have locations in the Chicago area and a few in IN.
