Hey, Sheena, I sent her a DM, but I see from your note that she's not logging on. She's such an over-achiever -- she had to break BOTH legs?!?! I wish her a quick and easy recovery so that she can go enjoy her new home with her family.
No. She is not logging into City Data, but she has access to the internet. I am not sure why. These are questions best left for her when she returns.
We didn't encounter each other too often due to disparate interests, but the posts I saw were always respectful and well thought out; hopefully we'll hear from her soon -- Safe journey and a fast return to us, N-K!
I don't know No Kudzu very well (although the name rings a bell). But tell her I wish her well. I was recently in a minor accident of my own and broke several bones (not my legs however). Just having one badly broken bone and needing surgery to fix it was depressing enough, I can't imagine both legs! It stunk being "laid up" and not being able to do the things I wanted to. I couldn't even cook myself a meal or brush my own hair for weeks. I can really relate to how she's probably feeling emotionally.
Sheena, if you could, pass along this advice. What helped me during those depressing times was focusing on how it would be healed soon and I would be recovering... remembering that the current situation it only temporary. Just keep thinking about how things are getting better. Hopefully No Kudzu will get over that hump.
