Every now and then I get them from our market, very short season and they are not grown in Ca. East and some other states. These are the only grapes that have seeds NOW that I know of, unless a person grows their own grapes.
Does anyone know WHY the seeds are all removed and are they GMO grapes. Even though I usually buy organic when I buy my grapes. Are all the seeds now used in the production of grape seed extract, which I now take 22 some yrs. The seeds are the highest amount of antioxidant.
There are other seeded grapes but I imagine demand is higher for seedless grapes so the stores stock more of those varieties. The grapes are not being seeded ahead of time for the oil.
I get my grapes from the capsule, I gave up wine drinking a few yrs ago, don't want it anymore and love not spending the money...if I want wine, I want quality wine.
I buy a bunch of grapes now and then but surely not lbs.
If there's a good Asian market near you, you can get some varieties with seeds. There's a Korean one that reminded me of concords.
I am not driving now and my walking is very limited, so I can't shop around. And Concords are very limited. And I don't think the vineyards ship across the country, it would cost an arm and a leg and not arrive in good grape shape.
These grapes are HIGH in resveratrol. I buy Muscadine grape seed often and taking it now.
