Trader Joe's holiday thread - your faves?

I just made the Pumpkin Bread today, added chopped walnuts. It was very good, moist, too.

I LOVED, LOVED the chocolate triple ginger cookies (or something like that name) - of course they were discontinued - they were a Christmastime item.

A few days ago, I did some shopping at a fairly-small TJ's, and--sure enough--all of the items displayed on the endcaps at the front of the store were indeed "Pumpkin" flavored. However, once you ventured down the aisles, everything else was their normal fare. So, the non-pumpkin stuff probably amounted to ~98% of their offerings.

I love the pumpkin cheesecake, although I haven't had it in a while. Hmmm....maybe that's a good enough reason to go buy one.

One of my favorite things that was introduced as a holiday item but they now carry year round is the Chocolate Brooklyn Babka, good stuff!

^^^This. I agree the chocolate Brooklyn babka is outstanding. Good to know it's available year round now.

Wow, sounded good. I would like anything w/ both chocolate and ginger. They used to have Chocolate Macaroons, which they DC'd, too.

They were!! They had nice crunchy bits of ginger for a little bite and then a coating of dark chocolate - I really want some now

I'm sure Tj's is very good... but pumpkin cheesecake is really easy to make. I like this recipe- it has a layer of plain cheesecake and then a layer of pumpkin cheesecake- the two together make a nice balance -

Their chocolate pecan pie bar was scrumptious -- shaped like a strudel, very fudgy and moist with lots of pecans. I bought another and put it in the freezer. They still have it -- I asked if it was a holiday food and they weren't sure but said they were still coming in.
