If you haven't tried them coated in baking powder, you might want to give it a try. I do it in the convection oven (similar to air fryer) and they rock.

I'm making a mini Thanksgiving-style turkey dinner Turkey, potato salad, rice and peas, and candied yams. I SO want to do mac and cheese, but gave up dairy almost a year ago and don't want to go do a vegan version of the dish.
I took some fried chicken from our last weeks party out of the freezer so we will have that, plus green beans, salad and maybe boiled potatoes. Whatever, it will be in front of the TV on TV tables: FOOTBALL in full swing today. We will spend a good part of the day glued to the TV. This is the day I wait for every year. Football is our best friend. Yes, it is an addiction, but one I am not ashamed of one bit. And it is cheaper than spending the afternoon shopping.
ended up picking up dinner on the way home last night -- Greek bowls from Cava -- so will do the sheet pan squash/cauliflower/chorizo w/ pineapple-buffalo glaze for dinner tonight.
We’re seeing a 4:00 movie, so it will be speedy to fix, hotdogs with broccoli cauliflower salad.
