Last night's feta, baby greens and pomegranate salad. I served it with a lemon dijon dressing.

Tonight's dinner will be cornish game hens, wild rice and roasted asparagus.

Baked chicken skin on bone in from the freezer. Stick it in a pan skin down on high to crisp it up. Wish I had a fan over the stove cuz it fogs up the house with all the smoke.

Had unexpectedly big lunch, outside in the 73-degree sun, with a friend, on a farm, with a chicken underneath our table. Not kidding... why I didn't get a pic, I've no bloody idea. As a lifelong city girl, you've no idea how wonderful that was for me. Fed her pieces of bread, while she cooed... or whatever noise that was she made... & I suppose the bread was palatable, cuz she didn't peck my toes or chase me from the farm.

No dinner can top that, but I'm not too hungry anyway. Since I'm still working on the bushel of peaches I dragged home from Costco, I guess it's going to be a peach or 2... got 1/2-dozen left & I'm working my way through them as fast as I can, to beat the fruit flies, who'll be visiting any day now.

Have a good week, All!
