Tonight will be leftovers: The roast from last night will be run through the meat slicer and turned into Italian beef sandwiches (yes, I have hot giardinera and au jus) and we will have the rest of the Italian cream cake for dessert. I made potato salad to go with the sandwiches.
Dogboa made his sausage gravy to top Alton Brown's recipe of biscuits he made up. He also had a couple of fried eggs on his plate. I cut up the watermelon and washed the blackberries, whew so much work!

A handful of Ruffles chips & what seemed like a dozen glasses of water.
I wanted to buy a bunch of oranges or grapefruits at Costco today, to eat all day, but I bypassed the aisle... it was too crowded with meandering shoppers Valhalla bent on racing about with giant carts as if they were on some Cinderella timeline & their shopping baskets would turn into pumpkins at noon sharp... & oh, well... I forgot the citrus.
Ruffles aren't a reasonable facsimile thereof... but, they sure were crunchy good.
Praline, glad your husband is on the mend & nice to have you back!
Salmon, mashed potatoes and green peas. Drank Newcastle Brown Ale.
