Anyone care to explain this?https://twitter.com/espn/status/9760...74877596766210

When having a sandwich, I think oil and vinegar does the trick.

I need a third option ... “Meh”

I don’t add it to sandwiches, but it’s good as an ingredient in some recipes (certain dips, for example)

The only sandwich I use mayo on is grilled cheese sandwiches. It browns better than butter without the excess greasiness.

I like mayonnaise on several things - but wouldn't eat it 'raw' (okay, I'm doing a LITTLE of that with my beloved Kewpie mayonnaise). It is one of the things I miss the most when I'm trying to lose weight - the no fat just doesn't taste the same.

I have a hard time imaging these things without mayo: egg salad, chicken salad, potato salad, hamburgers, ham sandwiches, maybe turkey sandwiches, certain dips and salad dressings (and no, yogurt does not taste the same), tartar sauce, aioli,

I'm also using it when I broil salmon, thanks to a suggestion from some very nice person on this forum. Slathered on top, It really makes the fish moist and the fish nice and crunchy.

This. I only use it when "grilling" bread for sandwiches for the exact reason stated above. I don't like raw mayo.

Probably the same people who came up with Shrimp 'n' Grits... I was convinced to try it for the first time yesterday... I like shrimp, I like grits, but why in the world would anyone mix them together??? It was as bad as I thought it would be.

That's a great idea! I also don't eat the low fat because it is pointless, but the fatty one has too many calories. I use mayo in coleslaw and carrot raisin salad. The way our family makes coleslaw is with sugar, shredded cabbage and mayo.

I mainly use it in tuna fish, which I will eat for a couple of weeks every eight years or so. And I sometimes like to make Russian dressing. And there's a potato salad I make with a dressing that starts with 2/3 sour cream, 1/3 mayo (plus lots of chopped fresh herbs). That's it.

I do not eat it hot at all. Warm mayo disgusts me.
