Simple solution : lick fingers, dip in salt*, pick up popcorn.
*(or additional spices and condiments like MSG, garlic powder, ranch dressing powder, bay seafood seasoning, etc.)

Why not some olive oil. Trader Joe's Olive Oil popcorn is GREAT. Just make it like that at home.

add a little water to the salt so it's a liquid, then put it in a sprayer and spray it on the popcorn.

We've discovered air popped popcorn. It's good BUT not great without the butter. But we can deal with that and try to forget it. HOWEVER, we cannot deal with not having any salt on this stuff. I have popcorn salt, but not unexpectedly, it doesn't stick at all.

How do I get at least SOME salt to stick to this stuff without bumping up the calories and oil? Or is it a lost cause?
Corn is not a good weight loss food.

Air popped popcorn is very dry and adding salt won't work. It just falls right off. The only way to work is a salted butter spray.

I forgot to add you have to put it in a paper bag and shake it vigorously. I've never had a problem with it not sticking.

Yep. That's how I do it, too! And it must be real butter. Margarine is not allowed in this house.
