Love the Malbecs from the Mendoza region of Argentina..¡Que Bueno!
Catena is a modestly priced and lovely tasting Malbec.
Have to look for that one. We usually have at least 4 or 5 bottles of Malbec on hand. I sometimes order from one of the wine clubs if they have a good deal.

If you have a convenient Trader Joe's they sell an Argentine Malbec (La Finca) for $4.49 I think is quite good as an 'everyday' wine.

“Resistance is futile” at least when it comes to 🍒 Grab, (pay) and go. Got 2lbs for $9.99 at Costco this weekend. Not sure if it’s the Best Buy. Pitted & cleaned yesterday. Mr C and I enjoyed a couple handfuls.
I love making a Bing Cherry Compote that you can spoon over french toast, on a bagel with cream cheese (yum!), into yogurt, over a store bought pound cake for a quick special dessert, or even on certain meats like Roasted Chicken, Lamb or Pork. https://www.davidlebovitz.com/fresh-...ompote-recipe/
Cream cheese and cherry jam on a bagel was my Christmas morning, riding in the back seat, looking through their Christmas stockings, keep the kids from bickering, on the way to Grandparents, Christmas breakfast for many years.

ARRRRGGGGGGHHHH! Just at the local market and cherries were $4.99/lb which after their long absence I'd happily pay, IF they were remotely close to ripe. Far too much bright red in the bags but hopefully soon.

Yesterday I bought some...costly but they were perfect....hang in there
I never make anything as I eat them by the handfuls, then they're are gone.
Just bought a couple pounds at the Farmers Market. They look beautiful. Like you, I just rinse them off
and eat them as they are.
