It depends on a couple of things; what is in it and how much you use. I use it all the time, have no problems and though I love 1/2 and 1/2 it can spoil. Non dairy creamer does not. BTW, we all pay too much attention to what we hear others say about what is and isn't good for us. No one really knows for sure.

Something odd about the term Non Dairy creamer, kinda begs the question if its not a dairy creamer what the heck is it and why do i need it? If we are talking about those little packets of powdered chemicals take a look at the ingredients that go into their composition and ask yourself if you really need to ingest such a concoction.
Is Non dairy creamer bad? well it probably wont kill you right away..
Bit of a read on the subject.

I only use half & half.

Nondairy creamer tastes weird and flat and oily.

I buy small cans of condensed milk and use a teaspoon in my coffee or tea. It'll keep for awhile if I pour it into a jar with a lid. I also use a little in my oatmeal if the cereal turned out too dry.

I used to use non-dairy creamer, but I also had issues with headaches from it.

I usually use heavy whipped cream (liquid) in my coffee, but lately I have been using a flavored coffee creamer. I have to say the latter is really tasty, even better than the whipped cream and I don't even have to add sugar! Still, I have read it is not good for the heart, but what I want to know is - when is it unhealthy? A daily morning coffee, two coffees a day, three? Three times a week? I usually only have one cup of coffee a day and sometimes I even miss it for a day or two.

I make my own full fat, sugar free creamer.

Heavy Whipping Cream, add Stevia (or Splenda) and Vanilla extract to taste. There you go with "French Vanilla"

The non dairy or fat free creamer is akin to the Margarine vs Butter thing. So much better to use the real thing.
