I may try one or something similar. I don't think my great grand kids have ever had jello or if they have, not many times.
I'll tell you what got me on this kick. I found an old (God only knows how old it was) box of peach Jello and decided "What the heck?" and made it. It was great! I swear, I hadn't had Jello in years, maybe even decades! Anyway, then my granddaughter got her wisdom teeth taken out and I told her mom "Get her some Jello!" and she did and we were both like, "Why haven't we eaten this lately?" I swear, it was actually good, even though I know it is full of food coloring. Oh well, it also has collagen, right?
Back in the 1980s I had a Jello mold probably from Tupperware. I have no idea where it went, but I am so excited about finding this vintage mold on eBay! It has removable little inserts for different holidays - how fun is that? LOL So I am super excited.
I guess I've always been a cheap date because I get really excited and enthusiastic about little things. "JELLO? OH MY GOSH YES! IN A VINTAGE MOLD!!!!!!!"
I like jello with cottage cheese, crushed pineapple, and walnuts. Never make it but I would buy it if I went to a cafeteria restaurant such as Furrs, Luby's, etc. And it is somewhat healthy.
I will take the turkey breast and cover it in Devil's Spit BBQ sauce from Famous Dave's. I'm not a big fan of the traditional Thanksgiving meal. I would like to try Turducken sometime.
The day after turkey sandwich on white bread with mayonnaise. A tradition.
I look forward to the turkey sandwich, but have 1 or 2 the same evening after the T-Day dinner. Of course I put dressing and cranberry jelly on it as well.
