I made a batch in the summer for iced tea and had it wrapped in the refrigerator for some time now. When I went to use it, it was kind of "cloudy." I thought of mold, but I'm not sure. Does anybody know how long I can keep this stuff? I was afraid it would be rock candy. I never gave a thought that sugar and water wouldn't keep refrigerated.

I made some iced tea with it, but am concerned about drinking it. What do you think?

Dispose of it and make a new batch. Refrigerated simple syrup has a shelf-life of about a month.
