I use to buy swiss colony chocolates and dips for a girl at work when I drew her name . The one guy that I drew a name for well I got him a sausage and cheese gift set and he returned it to me and told me someone had told him that I really could not afford that so he asked me if I could return it and just get him a coffee mug at the first of the year . I was so embarrassed that I have never ordered swiss colony again . But we used to order from them a lot.
Swiss Colony was the big place to order from throughout my childhood. I think the quality has gone downhill somewhat though in recent years.
I would probably go with Harry & David's these days if they're still around - still sad they closed their retail locations.

OMG what a dolt. For crying out loud, you'd already gotten it and given it to him. And don't get me started on the "someone" troublemaker!
And BTW, I remember Swiss Colony. I don't know what they're like now, but they used to have quality offerings.
Same with Collin St. Bakery. We used to give and receive delicious pies around holiday time. I hear they're not as good anymore.
