Good morning everyone! It is good to see you all again
The holiday is over and it is time to go back to routine with the household and all that comes with it.Gosh did I become lazy cooking.

Therefore to ease my first week back of having to cook I am making a big pot of orange lentil/channa and black lentils/urid daal soup in the slow cooker.Served with chapatis/rotis,a plate with tomato,onion,red/green Bell pepper, purple turnip slices and mango pickle. To drink lassi. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

Wishing you all a good week

For dinner, using up the last head of Romaine & cuke with a makeshift dressing... all my lemons went bad so I guess avocado oil/Balsamic vinegar with Himalayan salt it is.

Should be having surgery tomorrow, so I'll be off for awhile. We'll see... my ride to, p/u from & person who was going to let me stay on their sofa for a few days just bailed (thanks ever so much)...

...so, I'll just show up & let them figure out what to do with me afterwards.

Have a good month, Everyone.
See ya in Feb.

Got cream of potato soup cooking in my new insta pot or pressure cooker, whatever you want to call it. I have it on slow cooker setting. I am having lots of fun with the pressure cooker. I think this is the 4th time I have used it and only had it 2 weeks.

Roasted chicken legs with carrots and potatoes, tossed with Parmesan and olive oil. There’s a lemon garlic sauce at the end.

It's not really a soup weather day, but I've made roasted tomato and basil soup and a big green salad with olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon vinaigrette.
