A nice lazy day today, I think I'm gonna mix some sauerkraut with browned onions and caraway seeds, put a pork tenderloin on top with some quartered red potatoes, a few pats of butter and do it low and slow in the oven.
a local store has chuck roasts for 2.99lb and southern style pork rib from pork butts for .99lb
I stocked up !
I bought 4 beef roasts cut one into stew meat - one I ground for burger and left two for roasts...I will cook in instapot ,,,,in the future
the ribs ...thick meaty with some flavor/marbling I will put some in the instapot for pulled pork and some I will slice in chunks for pork tips or kabobs and the rest I will cook for ribs .. and two packages I will make 10lbs of sausage …. you cant go wrong at .99lb!
We're watching a bad faux Bollywood movie tonight, so decided to stop at our favorite Indian place for dinner.
