last night was a roasted sheet pan dinner of yellow squash, onions, chorizo, Hatch chiles all tossed with a chipotle maple glaze, served with crumbled feta.
Tonight will be middle eastern flavored braised lamb shanks, okra stewed with tomatoes, onions, garlic & lemon, served over lentils. peaches for dessert if anyone is still hungry.
I just don't feel like cooking. I pulled some leftover chicken noodle soup out of the freezer. The family can have that or some of last night's lasagna. I have some little Hawaiian rolls then can have too.

Tonight is sandwich night and homemade tomato soup (I made yesterday) in a cup.Everyone can choose and make what they like on their sandwiches.Mine will be old Canadian cheddar cheese sandwich with dill pickle slices and French mustard.Later relaxing with a good book and a cup of chamomile tea.
