Occasionally I like to deliberately wind up my wife by coming home from the pub and taking her carefully prepared meat, potato and veg plate waiting to be microwaved and instead chop it up and fry it in a pan with a fried egg on top.
With lashings of brown sauce.
What a double whammy - a great meal and irritating the missus in one go.
Another great hash is bubble and squeak - leftover potato and veg from dinner the night before fried up with breakfast.
Anyhow dinner tonight was Sri Lankan - bowls of curried stuff with rice and noodles although tbh I really wanted a big fat steak.

Dinner last night was homemade pizza. Margherita for me. New Orleans for DH, which is crawfish, andouille, roasted red bell, red onion, Fontina and moz, plus a sweet/sour/spicy apricot preserves drizzle. We also have a red-headed stepchild pizza of half regular Margherita with the other half using rest of roasted red bell instead of tomatoes. Nobody got to that 1 yet. Breakfast!

Well we were to full and too tired after our huge lunch yesterday to have the chili, so tonight will be chili night. I night all a salad, but that is up in the air for now. Spoiled brat did have 1/2 ham sandwich last night. I didn't even have a glass of wine. Boy is that a surprise.

I had a lamb sausage topped with a mint dressing, onions and tomatoes; and fish and chips. I ordered out from this gourmet hot dog shop. The lamb sausage was good, but the fish and chips were divine. I'm actually very glad that I found a place that serves great fish and chips by me.

Dessert: Turkey Hill Trio'politan - 3Vanilla. (vanilla bean, brown sugar bourbon vanilla & homemade vanilla), Very good.

Took some meatballs out of my freezer stash. I turned them into meatball subs, toasted in the oven with provolone cheese.
