Pork loin roast tonight, smoked oyster dressing, extra cheesy Au Gratin potatoes with bacon and onions, green beans with tomatoes and bacon and onions.
Today we will be having a seafood mixture plate and baked potatoes Instead of salad I will use up some of the many veggies I have to use or lose. we have a fridge full of a little this and a little that.
Went out last night and had a very nice rendition of moussaka.
Tonight, I think I will thaw some tuna steaks and sear them with sesame seeds and serve with a ponzu sauce, with corn on the cob and purple long beans. Peaches for dessert if still hungry.
Trying out a Suzanne Somers recipe from her book Eat Great Lose Weight, minted lamb in zucchini boats, and there's still pasta salad and green beans from last night. The recipe is actually for cucumber boats but I have several very nice zucchini from a kind neighbor that need to be used.
We are traveling, and have had two bad restaurant dinners in a row. After a long day of sightseeing in the GA mountains, we’re staying in with Arby’s and cocktails. Home sweet home tomorrow.
Carpaccio made with rib eye, with a mustard aioli, capers, parm shavings and lightly dressed arugula. The other dish is marinated red and orange bell peppers and onions.
We just finished Beyond Meat Burgers on whole grain rolls, topped with fried eggs, lettuce and tomatoes. On the side, homemade mayo free coleslaw and corn on the cob.
