last night was pork chops, green beans, applesauce and tomatoes.

Tonight will be turkey meatloaf and roasted eggplant with middle eastern spicing.

It was a 4:30 morning to make fancy corn muffins for SO's office party.
Home made pizza with Spanish Chorizo, onions, hot banana peppers and two cheeses. A good glass of Merlot, the never ending salad bowl and a silly movie.
Before that a complete harvest of the vegetable garden as an unexpected cold snap is supposed to hit tonight. Basil anyone?

Real Fall weather has finally arrived (yippee!) so this calls for a hearty meal.

Leek and potato soup
Rabbit braised in wine, prunes and mushrooms
Grilled asparagus
And banana nut bread later
