Tonight is spaghetti with a raw sauce of grape tomatoes, garlic, basil, kalamatas and goat cheese.
You are a lucky girl! That soup looks delicious!

It might sound weird, but it's tasty and filling. My only gripe is how long sweet potatoes take to cook in the oven. Took 2 hours!
No! This does NOT sound weird at all! I love the combination! I precooked the sweet potatoes

So much so that I am making it tonight - only swapping out the kimchi for whisky dill sauerkraut.

I made a salad of chopped baby kale, apples, shredded Brussels sprouts, dried cranberries, and crumpled smoked gouda toped with a maple mustard dressing. dressing. and a Cheeta Rheingeist to drink.

It was a phone in dinner. Burgers and truffle fries. I have not tasted truffles, so have no idea what they taste like. I still don’t. Halloween candy.

Monterey chicken with roasted red bell slices and asparagus with Monterey Jack cheese sauce over spaghetti. It was supposed to be fettuccine, but the spaghetti was on top. Liquid for the cheese sauce was chicken stock, cream and white wine. Garlic rolls for bread. Not pretty, but pretty easy and tasty, though I think I'll use Parm next time.

Last night's dinner consisted of a bowl of my homemade Lentil Soup, plus a Dr. Praeger's California Veggie Burger, on a whole wheat bun.

Sunday - rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn.

Monday - chicken sandwiches on French bread, big salad. Margot had mango, a carrot/pea purée, and some Cheerios.

The baby food is becoming a tough sell now that she’s had real food like roast chicken and mashed potatoes (and bites of everything I eat). I may be making a local food pantry very happy soon.
