Last night at my mother's place (She's 84 years young but still has the magic touch), I had beef tenderloin, mashed potato bake, corn casserole, creamed spinach, rolls, apple cake, tea, and coffee.
Christmas Eve dinner, mixed salad, fettucine alfredo (parmigiana, cream and cottage cheese) with scallops, squid and shrimp from the Gulf coast of Texas sauteed in olive oil and garlic. Some of the shrimp battered and fried.
Christmas dinner today, mixed salad, sauteed salmon, homemade rye bread, with arugula, and rib roast. I might also bake an apple pie if there is a consensus.
Hope all are having a wonderful Christmas time (for those who celebrate) / holiday ( for those who prefer this salutation better).
Planning on ham, sweet potatoes, glass of moscato (Poggio brand) - Maybe 2 small glasses
Water on the side.
Dessert: bought one of those Panettone ‘s . We got hooked on that when we lived in Italy. So every year about that time we’ll get one or a mini version of one. Wonder if we have any decaf coffees in the house
Hope so. I can’t very well do caffeine after 2 or 3 pm. My other half could do a pot of it and still fall asleep when his hit comes in contact with a pillow.
